Our bull has arrived today. None of the heifers have spotted him yet, but they will be beside themselves when they do.
He is lovely and quiet, a big sook. Hopefully in about 9-10 months we will have some babies on the ground, depending on how fast he gets to work. ;)
He looks lovely :) Our bull is a sook too, but we are never quite sure around him, he moves really slowly, but he beat up the neighbour's bull, so he can be aggressive when he wants to. I prefer to give him plenty of space!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz, I think I will be giving him plenty of space too. I always have an uneasy feeling around bulls, so I don't ever let my guard down. He seems quieter than all of the heifers though, so hopefully he quietens them down a bit too.
